Welcome to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 8315, Schertz, TX. My name is Judy Baggett, President, Ladies Auxiliary.
We live by our motto: “Honor the dead by helping the living”. We set
out to serve the Veterans of this Country and our communities as a
testament to the sacrifices and commitment of every man and woman who
has served in uniform.
We have numerous programs that we are involved with such as Voice of
Democracy Scholarships to local high school students, Veterans Support,
Hospital, Cancer Aid & Research, Americanism, and Youth Activities, just
to name a few.
The next few months we have numerous activities that we will be doing:
October: Fire Prevention/Safety poster contest at local elementary
schools;
November: Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s
Pen Scholarships to area high school students;
We have a breakfast every 3rd Saturday of the month from 7:30 – 11:00;
December Christmas Party is the 18th in The Hall of Flags (agenda pending).
We have a great team this year, thanks to all you ladies. I couldn’t
do this without any of your continued support.
